Hi Everybody!
Today I have a hybrid piece for Elke's 'landscape of the soul' theme
at Art Journal Journey, once again using photos of
my family:
For Tag Tuesday, all creatures great and small,
I have a large tag with a painted and stamped background, the stags
were punched from black recycled card. I am also linking to
Last night we had a fab moonscape, with dark clouds scudding by,
but unfortunately neither bats nor witches:

So cool that you have pictures of relatives as children as well as adults. I don't have many pictures of my parents or their parents as children. The few I have of my grandparents as young adults are very precious. The prancing deer tag made me smile. Reminded me of the tiny service dog in the workshop Sat. She was happy and pranced around the room with her owner. You've outdone yourself with the sky photos. Gorgeous shots of the moon. Hope you're feeling better and have a good weekend.

You truly DID put it all on paper and I'm sure you will keep it (and the original photos) forever. This is wonderful, but so is the tag. I like how you depicted the animals and used the backing paper.
ReplyDeleteThe moon shots were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I was incredibly impressed. It was both beautiful and ethereal. Spooky might even be a good word under certain circumstances.

awsome, and you have put a little birdie on to. love birds as you might know ;O)) great MOON photos, I saw the moon to yesterday it was fab, just like you looked at. I think its fun to look at the moon and then sometimes I think of that maybe some of my friends do the same at exact same time? it a small world, and then again so huge ;O)

I love seeing actually family photos too. I use those TH people, which I like, but maybe I need to pull out and copy some old photos. As usual, your post is full of inspiration. ReplyDeleteCool spookiness captures in the sky! The collage is beautiful. I love the "put it on paper keep it forever". With technology today we are getting away from that. It is an important thing to remember! The tag is so sweet reminding me of Santa. :) Enjoy your weekend!

I haven't seen the moon for a while - I've been in bed before 10 - darkness with rain is more comfy between sheets :)
ReplyDeleteIt's raining daily, every now and then sun says hello and hides again. Yesterday's ikebana course was nice experiment, I'll show photos next week.

I don't know how you get such fantastic moon shots. I get some that are good, but most of them are not nearly as clear as I want them to be. :) Beautiful!
