Grungy, rusty Valentine

Hi Everybody!

Happy Valentine's Day!

To celebrate the day I made 2 hybrid pages, which I am linking to Art Journal Journey, if music be the food of love, and Moo Mania and More, hearts.
My grungy wall has been used for the background of both pages.
Here I have added rusty roses, my heart and my window-sill cherub.

For the second page I used an image from Dezinaworld, combined with my grungy wall and rusty heart.

We had a cold and frosty night followed by a wonderful sky in the early morning:

Anr the sunrise was wonderful

Here I took  photos of the sunrise reflected in one of my pictures:

Have  a great day you all,
take care, and thanks a lot for coming by!

  9. Wonderful pages Valerie-what a find the rusty wall was I can see it will appear often and deservedly so.

Love the photographs with the great skies that seem to appear when the weather is really cold. I think it is supposed to be on the way here but not too back just at the moment. Such an amazing idea to take pictures of the reflection on your pictures. I often think that the shapes on our white walls deserve to have a photograph taken then I forget to do it.

    Have a great day

    Love Chrissie xx

  13. Wonderful collage. Got to love your grungy wall, I bet it comes in handy for lots of stuff. Our days look pretty similar, right now we are having -18 °C and the high will be -8 - brrrh- but it sure makes for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Happy Valentine's Day, Valerie.

Zuerst dachte ich an eine Fotomontage bei dem fliegenden Vogel vor dem roten Himmel, aber du hast ihn wohl tatsächlich so fotografiert. Klasse!

  20. ❤❤ HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY dear dear Valerie. ❤❤ You bring so much joy and love into my life through your wondrous creations - thanks bunches and bunches.

I am so far behind typing to you but please know... I read every word, every day and so enjoy every one of your designs.

Right now, I am just in love with your grungy wall. That is just such an incredible photo and you are using it to all it's glory - so creatively. I love both of these - especially the little cherub with the rusty hearts. And both sentiments are so true too!!! And your face on the wall yesterday was wonderful and so different looking from the same face on a different background the day before. They were both neat but I just loved your face on the grungy wall best!!

Incredible sunrises - wow. One was so bright it's blinding! And capturing the birds in the foreground... you are just such a great photographer. And that last picture of the sunset through the picture is just outstanding. You never cease to amaze me.

Sending you ❤❤ - on this special love day and always. XX j.

  21. I like the grungy rusted flowers peeking through. Even you photos look cold. -23C here this morning and it didn't get above -12C all day. That's about as cold as we get. xox

  24. Love your use of grunge and your cherub. The way you modified the original is so interesting. They are all great, and I really like the main coloration. The gears and the man is really creative and I love the message. You really did a great job with these. genie
