This evening Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party will start, so here a warm welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang who visit here! I have one of my painted breakfast scenes. This is an A3 page painted with acrylics, and is now hanging in the dining room of a friend:

Weekend Post - Selkies and Scribbles:

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! 

Today I have a piece I made during the Lifebook taster sessions. I'm sorry, I've forgotten which teacher this was from. It's about the legend of the Selkies. Selkies are creatures who are half human and half seal. When they are on land they are completely human, when in the water they are just seals. They are supposed to be able to sing so beautifully that they can lure mortals to them. So be careful if your by the sea and hear a strange and hauntingly beautiful melody!

This was another of the Lifebook taster sessions, and once again I have forgotten the name of the teacher, shame on me. Anyway, it was great fun just to be playful here:
