Midweek Post

Hi Everybody!

We have been enjoying warm and sunny weather here these past days, with spring flowers instead of the ice and snow, which made everybody happy!

Today I am sharing an A3 mixed media collage on black paper. The honeycomb, gears etc were  stenciled, the insects are stickers which I framed with gold dots:

10 days ago we were stamping and sliding through ice and snow, even the moat at Castle Kalkum was covered in ice. We visited there again this Sunday, and enjoyed watching the beginnings of spring:

The bike is also no longer covered in snow:

We visited the alpacas:

They were just as interested in us:

What a difference a few days can make!

Have a great day take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

New Challenge at Tag Tuesday

Hi Everybody!

Today we are starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday, and our lovely Sandie is hosting. She has chosen 'a little bit of steampunk' as her theme, and I hope to see lots of you joining in. As always, the challenge runs for 2 weeks and tags of all formats are most welcome. Hope to see YOU there!

I made a hybrid tag using images from Serif and me:

And I digitally added the tag to a journal page and am linking to my heavy metal challenge at AJJ

And we saw lots of heavy metal while cruising through the industrial harbour in Duisburg:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

T sTands for This and ThaT

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing us all a good, new week! We had a sunny weekend here with warmer temperatures which were very welcome.

Today I have another piece to share for my heavy metal challenge at AJJ:

I made an A3 mixed media page with a metallic lizard, stars and some gold spots,  some of which look black. Sorry for the bad pics, the weather was awful when I took the photos, so the lighting was not right:

This evening Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party will begin, so here a warm welcome to all of the lovely ladies of the T Gang. I didn't get round to visit everybody last week, sorry, I had a couple of bad days. Here the photos were taken in Neuss,  neighbouring town:

My cappuccino. I love their cups!

I am showing more pictures of the street festival in Duisburg in 2018:

The Lifesaver fountain is from Nicki de Saint Phalle, who was famous for her 'nanas'

Then we decided to take a boat trip through the harbour
These were the bathroom decorations on the ship:

The gates of the harbour:

 Old warehouses:

More photos will follow in my next post!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
