Hi Everybody!
Here's wishing us all a great weekend. I'm still behind with commenting, blogging and more and I hope that I really will be able to catch up on everything at the weekend! The situation in the Ukraine is very sad, my heart goes out to all who have lot their lives or who are hiding in the metro stations. When will this madness end?

DeleteGood morning Your Sweet Valeriness, and thank you for creating another lissome, long-necked lady with luscious lips! Any ardent suitor wishing to festoon her neck with kisses would have to set aside a half hour. But what a lovely half hour that would be! I note that you are in your cat mood this weekend and I am not quite sure that I approve of showing these vicious bird murderers as cute, cuddly little pets. Oh, I can hear the screams from the cat people loud in my ears. Actually, I freely admit that an indoor cat is a fine and agreeable pet, but left to roam outdoors is capable of inflicting savage carnage on innocent songbirds and small mammals. Even the best fed cat hunts mercilessly. Today is bright and sunny here, but we still have enough snow to share with the rest of the world. Spring is on its way, however, close at hand now. The events in Europe are terrifying. This is how the second world war began, and a third such conflict would really be the end of all of us. We are determined not to learn from history. Stay safe, stay well, drink coffee, walk briskly, be happy. Hugs and kisses, David
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked today's girl! Yes, the events in Russia are terrifying and too close to home. I am really scared, and I cant begin to imagine how the people of the Ukraine feel. On a happier noted, my cats were always house cats, and they watched the birds from the window and enjoyed them like a live TV event.

War with Russia has threatened me for almost all of my life. We had bomb drills, we had peace rallies, we voted our convictions, we felt optimistic when the USSR dissolved…. but still, this is a surprise.

Yes, it feels like a nightmare come true. I feel very deeply for the people of the Ukraine, especially as my great grandparents came from there. Its so scary.
