Fish and music

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing you all a great weekend.
For Chris' '101 ways to keep warm' challenge at
Art Journal Journey I have an 8" x 8" page.
The substrate is cardboard, which was painted
and embossed. The image is a paper napkin
pasted onto music paper, which I sewed
to the backing. I think playing and enjoying
music is a great way to keep warm!
I am also linking to Simon Monday challenge,
it's a stitch up

I have some more pictures of the underwater world
at the Aquazoo:

I'm glad the shark was behind glass!

I wonder how that man got in the aquarium?

The yellow fish liked hiding:

Have a great day, take care,
and thank a lot for coming by!

The sea world photos are awesome. the colours of the plants and fish are stunning.
The tanks for the fish must be huge and like you I'm pleased the shark was behind glass.
    Happy Weekend wishes Valerie.

  14. Your musicians look amazing - so clever to glue them onto music manuscript, I love how it just shows through on the jackets, adding an extra touch of musical magic. Great stitching detail too.

  15. Using a napkin and your sewing machine have inspired me to get my napkins down and find ways to incorporate them. I love what you did for the AJJ entry. It's a gorgeous piece.

From the angle at which you took that first photo at the Aquazoo, it looked like you were underwater headed toward the stairs. It's a beautiful photo, as are all the ones you took there. I was SO impressed because I know how hard it is to get any photos from behind glass, unless you have a special filter on the lens. These are fabulous.

  24. It's hard to get clear photos of swimming fish with glass in between you and the fish but these came out great. I love the man reflection. AND the penguins in your new header. :) Penguins are often the hit of aquariums; at least they are when I bring the kids from school. (Which I haven't done a few years now.) And I love the jazz piece of art. I would never have guessed that was a napkin. Happy rest of your weekend. Hugs-Erika
