Hi Everybody!
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
We had a wonderful, sunny day after a cold and frosty night.
I enjoyed my walks, it was good not to freeze!
I have also been busy at home these past few days sorting, tidying, trying to bring order into my chaos, not easy for me, but necessary.
For my journal page for Art Journal Journey, things with wings, I used a photo from 2002 as background, taken in Capernaum by the Sea of Galilee when the late afternoon sun was covered in clouds. I love this sort of atmospheric sky. I printed it out in A4 and used Dina Wakley's bird stencil for the birds. This time I used white highlighter and VivaColor Moonstone glitter. The quote is from Hamlet.
The day started well with a beautiful sunrise over frosty fields:

And the moon this evening had a golden halo, and was very spooky!

ReplyDeleteWonderful art today--I really like the quote you used in this piece. When I saw your last photo of the moon, I immediately saw two figures in it. Perhaps a mother or father on the right looking adoringly at their child, whose back of the head I see on the left. Very spooky! Do you see it??
