Weekend post

Hi Everybody!

Just a short post for the weekend.

This was a quick-drip page to make the trees and forest, then with added stick-ons and doodles. As you can see, little Red is having fun with the animals, I hope she doesn't pick any of those mushrooms for Granny. I think the wolf is lurking somewhere but not yet daring to show his face! This is meant for Elle's challenge at AJJ, tell me a story!

This is an old one from one of my sketch books which fell on my foot:

Some funnies:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. Little Red has probably made friends with all the creatures of the forest and I have no doubt that they will take very good care of her. Perhaps they will even be able to give her good advice on the mushrooms, pointing out those that are only to be admired, and those that may be made into an omelette for grandma. I bet that even the Big Bad Wolf is quite a nice fellow once you get to know him. And I love the lady from you sketchbook too, Valerie. I am glad that you feel well enough and strong enough to post, and I hope that you get a little better each day. Hugs and kisses - David

    1. Thanks David, step by step I'm getting better, but still tire very easily. So I'm taking it easy, lots of feet up time, time for art etc. Still got a long way to go, but I will get there! Have a great weekend, look for Little Red if you're in the woods!Big hugs, Valerie

  2. Oh, your Little Red Riding Hood. Or Little Red, the Riding Hood, as I call her, {in homage to Roald Dahl} is absolutely fantastic. Hope you're improving daily now. Hugs. Deb.

  5. Those drips make an absolutely fabulous forest. Nice eye to see that. It makes a fun page. And I also like your sketch, but too bad it fell on your foot. And anti-depressants meme made me smile. Yes, it would be lonely without the dogs (or even having cats) even if they can be a lot of work sometimes-like when Pete gets sprayed by the skunk. Luckily not again. Have a wonderful weekend. 1. Thanks Erikà, long drips make good trees, I often did that at school with the kids. I would love a cat or dog again. No skunks here! Have a great day 😊❤️

  6. Your drip page background turns that forest into a magical fairy tale forest. I love how the bottom drips take on a sense of tree trunks.

I love your page. What a stunning background, the colours are fabulous and the drips are perfect. Love the little figures at the foot of the page and I am joining you in hoping the big bad wolf does not come out where they are.
Hope that you are improving day by day. Do take care of yourself.
