T sTands for Tuesday on Monday

Hi Everybody!

Here's wishing us all a great new week. I am still struggling and need to rest a lot which means I can't do as much as I would like to , but I have to get used it for a while!

For Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party I have a piece made many years back. Here I would like to welcome all of the nice ladies of the T Gang who visit here:

Coffee and cake:

This piece was also created many years back, and the photos were taken in a booth at the beginning of the 1980s :

I'm marveling at how nicely I could write on my old pages!

Having a rest:

Love:

David, what sort of birds are they?

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  5. The more you rest now the quicker you'll be back to normal. I'm off to do mum's shopping now before it gets busy but I'll enjoy that coffee when I get back. Gentle hugs, Angela xXx

  7. It's very hard to rest and behave ourselves, I know, but in the long run it'll be better. Look after yourself and if you feel up to it, keep making some lovely art. Sending healing light. Hugs, Deb

  8. Hi Valerie: I am sure that taking it easy for a while is the best medicine of all, especially when you have delightful pieces like this one in your stash. As for the downy young birds, you have me stumped. I am unable to identify them. I chuckled at the image of the stern lady saying that she enunciates her profanities clearly. I know a couple of women like that and I can tell you it is true! Little old ladies with white hair have doubtless heard it all and know how to use it for best effect! Keep resting up and getting stronger. Hugs and kisses- David

    1. David, I am shocked that there are birds which you can't identify! I am also able to enunciate my profanities clearly, and that in several languages! I haven't got white hair yet but I still know a lot! I hope you have some enjoyable walks planned this week, and that you can show your acolytes lots of good things! Have a great week, BIG hugs to you and Miriam!

  9. It's fun seeing these older art pieces. Is that man your husband on the purple page? And I can identify those birds-they are baby birds-ha-ha-OK that's a bad joke. I hope you are getting rest and have a nice start to your week also. And maybe some more cake and coffee-yummy! Happy early T day. hugs-Erika

  16. BIrd babies don't become distinctive right away -- unlike some species, which are born in a pretty capable state (at least able to walk and follow their mothers or hang onto them), chicks are born very blind and helpless and without fully marked feathers. They can'f fly or walk. So like us, bird parents have to go to a lot of trouble to raise a family. I like your photos.

  17. I hope you get plenty of rest, Valerie. I am glad I saw your request to link you, which I did. I love the coffee idea and the cake, which looks more like pie to me. This is a great way to honor T Tuesday even if you are sharing older art. Take care, dear friend.

  28. I am not a T gang member but I do like your posting of the coffee cup and the lovely script accompanying it.
Sorry to hear you are still feeling tired, you must rest when your body tells you to. I have been having trouble with breathlessness these past few weeks and am trying not to do anything that will exert me and set me off. they always say "there's no fun in getting old" and I just know what they mean nowadays.
You take care and listen to your body.
    Hugs, Neet xx
