I like your tag and page for the vintage challenge Valerie. As always great walk photos, that last photo is great, a lovely shady walk and inviting path.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue. I love walking that path, too, it leads to a lovely park full of apple trees!
DeleteLovely art.
ReplyDeleteI do like the balloon flowers, such a gorgeous shade of blue.
I agree with 'kiwikid' your last photograph is great, it looks a very inviting path.
All the best Jan
Thanks Jan, some paths really invite us to explore! Have a great day!
DeleteGorgeous art Valerie, love that vintage calendar lady and the fabulous textures on your tag! Beautiful photos of your walk, the last picture is so peaceful!

ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, have a great day!
DeleteI like the beautiful page with the lady on the swing. Nice close up shot of the Canadian Geese and butterfly. Yesterday, I was trying to take a snapshot of a beautiful butterfly but it was too fast for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy. Butterflies are often hard to catch. Have a great day!
DeleteHi Val, good morning! Hope the sun is shining for you! Love the Journal page and the grungy tag. Lovely photos, too. Hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, hope you are all doing well- how does S like school? I'm sure she's happy there!
DeleteTwo wonderful creations. Love the textures on the tag. Such beautiful photos. Have a wonderful day. Hugs Anesha
ReplyDeleteThanks Anesha, have a great day! Hugs!
DeleteWell, nobody can deny that is Vintage. What a lovely page you have put together there Valerie. I love the little cherubs atop the lady on the swing. That calendar cover sits well on top of the lovely background that has some nice script on it.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of the birds, the heron and the bad hair day especially - you must have a super camera to capture them so closely.
Take care
Hugs, Neet xx
Thanks Neet, I loved this image as soon as I saw it, so light and carefree. The tree where the birds sit in is about 100 yards from my balcony, so I zoom them in, and can observe the birds without disturbing them. Have a great day, stay safe, hugs!
DeleteWhat an adorable vintage image you gave us today. This is absolutely stunning. You chose a great vintage image, too. It's perfect for Wendy's theme at AJJ.
ReplyDeleteI love your latest tag, too. I think it's awesome and of course, I love anything recycled.
Two favorite photos today are the swan and the farmer with the bales of hay in the field. thanks for taking us with you on your walk. Hope you are feeling better.
Thanks Elizabeth, I have been waiting to use this lovely image! Recycled is always good. Still feeling pretty awful, I think I just have to get used to it!
DeleteGood morning Valerie: Great shots of the Grey Heron and, of course the Canada Geese. Saw a few of those myself last evening! Hugs and kisses. David
ReplyDeleteHi David! You mean you still have Canada Geese over there? I thought they were all here! Have a fun day, hugs!

DeleteThis latest page is wonderful Valerie. It is definitely bringing me back to spring or summer. The calendar addition is a great embellishment. I also love your tag. It has a bit of street edginess to it. I've got a tag which I'll either post Thursday or Friday, Was just letting it have a bit of a dry. And wonderful photos. Bad hair day made me smile, and you caught a bee along with your butterfly. Hope your week is going well. Hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Thanks Dora, tags are easy to make!
DeleteI just checked my email for the day and saw your article. That is really interesting. I didn't know bees wouldn't cross large bodies of water. I had to even look up where Baltrum was located. I bet that is quite the sight on the ship with all those boxes of queens. Very cool. Thanks so much for sharing it with me. Much much appreciated! Happy Wednesday night or Thursday morning, which ever it is when you read this! hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika, glad you liked it. I thought it was a fascinating idea. It's Thursday morning here, just rolled out of bed and am sitting at m computer with my coffee - yesssssssss!

DeleteHow sweet are those cherubs holding the swing, lovely old vintage design with it's watercolour vibe. Like the new Tag Tuesday them too, you've made good use of those recycled materials, great image is it a stamp??
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling at The bad hair day Bird... that's me every morning haa haa.
Hugs Tracey xx
Oh yes, I can relate to bad hairday, I have fine and rather frizzy hair, horrible! The image was cut from a magazine, but I have a similar one, it was just too big for the tag!
DeleteWhat a great tag you recycle Valerie and then to put it use again onto a journal page..brilliant..great photos again too..
ReplyDeleteLuv CHRISSYxx
Thanks Chrissy, have a wonderful day!
