Weekend this and that

Hi Everybody!

Another week has sped by and it's Friday already - where did the time go? I ask this question every week, and never have an answer!
I am showing another spread in my journal, made this week at art group. I used a Jane Davenport tissue, adding colourful splatters, splodges and spots with water colours to the opposite page to coordinate. The birds were stenciled with a Diane Reavley stencil. I am linking to Paint Party Friday:

And I have an autumn tag. The image is from Gecko Galz and printed onto canvas. I used some natural dried plants and some fabric leaves embossed with Frantage white. The feather was picked up on one of my walks:

And I have more of the old houses from Neviges which I visited last Sunday. You can see the other photos here and here:

The space between the houses is about 2 feet wide:

I will show more photos next week.
Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  2. I love both pieces. The journal pages are so happy and colourful, just the thing on this grey, damp morning. And the nature tag is fabulous, love the owls, and the natural additions, you always do that so well. Makes sense to use what you find outside instead of buying stuff, and it looks so good! Have a great weekend, we're off to visit my sister and her family. Hugs, Sarah

  6. Both your journal spread and your tag were amazing. Loved the way you used the flowers, leaves, and feather.

Those home are out of this world. I was most interested in the homes that had the flower boxes in their windows, especially the ones that had them on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

  7. What a beautiful place to visit. I love the flower boxes and the colorful blooms growing in them. It feels so "old world" as we would say over here in the "new world". And gorgeous art today. Jane Davenport has some great images and color tissue, doesn't she? I haven't really seen her things here. And I adore the owls. Perfect for fall. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hugs-Erika
