Tuesday Post a few hours late

Hi Everybody!

Today we are starting a new challenge at Tag Tuesday,  and this time our lovely Sandie is hosting. That's the lovely lady who sorts our challenges, and who always makes sure that we know what's happening - THANK YOU!  Her theme for the next fortnight is
Sewing, Stitching or Dressmaking

I hope to see lots of you joining in, it's a great theme, and Sandie has created some wonderful examples to get you going. You can see them on the Tag Tuesday blog here. We accept all sorts of tags, real, digital,  or hybrid, but it must be a tag. You have 2 weeks to link to us.

I have called my tag 'sleep sewing', because the lady in the shop who should be sewing and mending has fallen asleep in the corner....

And I have some funnies / thinkies:

Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  10. A few hours late? Says who? For me, you are always right on time Valerie. And you have created a lovely piece with a sewing theme. Miriam will affix her seal of approval to this one. If it portrays a sewing machine, an object of worship and veneration for her, she will give it her unqualified endorsement. The note about book banning reinforces that some people truly are afraid of thought, especially the thoughts of others. It goes beyond thought too, a hint of sex, political opinions that are contrary to the thought police, authors deemed too radical, and so on. Who ever thought a ban on “To Kill a Mockingbird” would be implemented? And in Florida you can lose your job as a librarian if you put it on your shelves, or be fired as a teacher if you make it part of the curriculum. It is sheer madness, but scary too. We all know where banning books leads. Stay well, stay perky, stay creative, stay sane, and if you’re not quite feeling a hundred percent stay where you are! Hugs and kisses - David

    1. Th Thanks David! I am glad Miriam likes sewing machines etc! Yes, we do know where banning books led to, and it is very, very scary to think about it. I just cannot understand why so many people fall for these lies. I am very tired today, had two doctor's appointments, lots of tests egg and now I am flat out! Hugs, Valerie xxxxx

  17. I'm right now having some afternoon coffee to keep from doing what the seamstress has done! Been having trouble moving faster than a snail pace today, trying to finish one card all day long. I did do my workout so that's something, lol. Been fighting the heat lethargy I think. I go days just fine then it hits me again, sigh. No end in sight to it, either. Ugh. Hope you are having better weather and able to relax and rest well. XOX

    1. Hi Sweetie, rest is so important in this hot weather. I know what you mean about lethargy, just take your time. I use warmed up again here, too, but not too hot, and I hope it stays this way. Have a great day, keep cool 😎! Hugs!
