Tag Tuesday

Hi Everybody!

Just a short blog today to show a few new tags for Tag Tuesday, where our theme - chosen by me - is  travel. I hope more people will join in, you still  have a whole week to join us. I had a busy day here, and am looking forward to a bath, bed and a good sleep.

My tags today were made from some ads for Nespresso. I prefer making my own coffee, but I'm sure these pods are good, too. And the coffee is being shown in Palermo and Milano. I cut squares from the adds and glued them onto some gold patterned paper I found in my bit box. I used some scraps of ribbons to finish the tags. The last one is a bit wobbly, sorry:

I'm glad we have nice, Italian cafés here, so I don't have to travel so far for a coffee!

Looks like they are getting ready for a town celebration:

That's all for today, friends.

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  1. I've scheduled my Wednesday post with my tag on it. I like yours, and wouldn't it be fun to visit Palermo and Milan. Sit outside, enjoy your coffee...smile. And it's good you don't have to travel there for your coffee. Have a great T day Valerie, which I will say since you have so many coffee photos in this post. hugs-Erika

  9. You do have a knack of recycling everything that crosses your threshold, Valerie, and that's all to the good. Not only recycling in your case of course, but creativity too, making discards into attractive tags and the like. Nice to see some birds in your post today, adding class all the way! I hope that you are getting lots of rest and restoring your strength to get out and tackle the next meal with Heike. No doubt it takes a lot of energy to eat all that food, but I know you can rise to the task. I am not sure what we will have for dinner tonight, but something Asian sounds good, so I am leaning towards that. Maybe a shrimp stir fry. Yesterday we went for a long walk, saw lots of wonderful birds and ran into a woman who has been on a few of my walks, a delightful lady. I was happy to see her again. On Saturday I will be leading a walk for a branch of the Kitchener Public Library, always fun with lots of enthusiastic participants. Say hello to Heike for me. Hugs and kisses - David

    1. Hi David. I love recycling, much better than spending money and buying supplies. Just got a lovely gold patterned box from heike, it will be used to make something good! Yes, we need a lot of energy to eat all that food, but it's always soooo good. Shrimp stir fry sounds good. Glad you met one of your acolytes on your walk, I'm sure she will accompany you on more walks. I think it's great that so many people are interested in nature and birds, wish it were even more! Have a lovely day, hugs to you and your long suffering Miriam.....xxxxxx

  11. Great tags, Valerie! They remind me very much of your photos of your coffees with your girlfriend. It would be a fab way to chronicle a trip as long as you could sit somewhere with an iconic view, that is, lol. I have a few tags in the works, so stay tuned. Happy rest-up and week to you, xoxo

  22. Hi Valerie, even the UK is going mad for coffee shops where as when I was a girl it was the tea shop for afternoon tea. I prefer coffee myself but there's something about afternoon tea that just feels so civilised, guess it's something from a different time. Loving your photographs and hope the rest of your week is happy too. Hugs, Angedla xXx

  23. Your Tag are fab....My little town has loads of coffee shops, not all good though, I have a favourite called The Chart Room. the decor is Ocean Liner themed, early steamship travel, some wonderful pieces in there, no children allowed either, so kind of special.
