Weekend Post

Hi Everybody!

Winter seems to have forgotten to call in here, but perhaps it's just late! Europe seems to be a snow free zone just now - are we experiencing a Wintrexit? And so many people still think there's no climate change....

Anyway, warm wet and windy was our theme this week. Buds are growing and the birds seem to think it's time for spring. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next!

I had some blood tests done yesterday, and although my fingers are better than they were, the inflammation is still not gone, so I need to take the cortisone for another 8 days. I'm not really happy about it, as the side effects are hard, but what has to be has to be! Let the battle begin!

I made this A2 mixed media piece some weeks back together with another 'double-head' piece which I showed in December. This one had slipped down to the bottom of one of my large piles and I found it while looking for a book, which I still haven't found....The heads were cut from painted and textured paper and then given some sewing. After sewing them to the  painted and textured background, I decided to add the feathers, but can't say If I like them or not. But what's done is done!  I added the sentiment this week, sorry for the wobbly writing. I am linking to Jo's theme at Art Journal Journey, something new:

Last Tuesday we had a sunny day, and I enjoyed walking through Hofgarten and visiting the birds:
