Hi Everybody!
Our new challenge at Moo Mania and More is
**Halloween Party**
So fly over, park your brooms, drink a goblet of inspiration potion and have some wicked, magical fun. I made a hybrid page,
using a photo taken one night from my balcony,
and adding some scary elements:
As always, you have 2 weeks to cast your spells and create your work,
and projects of all formats are welcome!
I am also linking to Art Journal Journey, Indian summer,
as Halloween is its magical closure.
This morning I heard the wild geese honking as I was drinking
my first coffee, and just made it onto the
balcony in time to see them flying overhead -
I was only able to get one shot before they were gone:
A few minutes later the sun rose:
The sheep have now wandered to new pastures further along the Rhine, but I
visited once more before they left. I think the appealing thing about watching animals or birds is that they just live in the moment, and seem to make the best of it:
This afternoon we had a mix of sun and clouds along the Rhine:
Another huge ship:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Wonderfully atmospheric!!!

Love this fun and spooky page, the green shine is a fantastic touch. Wonderful photos as always, hugs Sarah
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful Halloween art! It's so much fun. I am amazed by the flying birds photo, I never manage to capture them in flight...
ReplyDeleteThat's a great page for Moo Mania. I love how you outlined your images with those glowing colors. Great photos again Valerie. That one photo you got of the geese flying is wonderful. :) Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLOVE those sheep! SO much!
ReplyDeleteWonderful new challenge at MM&M. You represented it well, too.
ReplyDeleteThe birds are often hard to photograph. You have to be at the right place at the right time and have your camera ready. Not so with the sheep. They photograph well, and seem to pose, too.
I've never seen so many people along the Rhine before. Maybe they came out to watch the big ship. Have a glorious Wednesday.
Beautiful page for the Halloween theme! That is a lovely shot of the geese!
ReplyDeleteAwesome page, Halloween glows in this page, looks cool. Oh and the plaid shoes, funny you like them because I was thinking of YOU wearing these when I made the card...they look like a Valerie style.xx {aNNie}
ReplyDeleteWow, fabulous Halloween art, I really love that page with your own photo and the bright outlined images. I will be happy to park my broom and join the party.
ReplyDeleteSuper photos, you caught the geese in flight again, I always love to see them fly.
Yvonne xx
Happy MOO MANIA & MORE!!!
HAPPY ART JOURNAL JOURNEY!

Fun spooky page you created Liebe Valerie.
ReplyDeleteI can tell you really like Halloween.
Your photos of the geese and sheep are really wonderful.
You hit the nail on the head about them living in the moment...content to just be! Maybe that's why I've been missing from the internet lately ;-)

Your spooky piece is terrific, Valerie,I just love all in it, the luminous green edging and the creatures and witch, and the spooky house, all of it - and the cat too, of course.
ReplyDeleteWe always rush out to see geese if we hear them, what an attractive photo, that is such a winner.
This is spooky perfection Valerie, I love your glowing cat. We have ducks that fly over us too quite regularly, but I never get tired of seeing them xx
ReplyDeleteGreat Halloween page!!!! The Geese shot is great. They have been flying over here too and Mini is sure she can jump high enough to catch one or join them :) The sheep always look so peaceful, I have a friend who raises them and I love to just go there and watch them.
ReplyDeleteYou must take a photo of your little mouse springing up to catch the geese!
Sabine
Wonderful us of the sky photo from the balcony - I do hope the spider was one of the added images!
