Hi Everybody!
I had a fun day today, with a visit to the K20 art museum here,
showing art of the 20th century. It was fantastic, and I will show photos
when I have sorted them
For Art Journal Journey, Indian Summer, I have 2 projects. The first is a hybrid piece, using a collaged background with printed and written papers, some digital add ons and my balcony blackbird:
These pages are in my 'new' journal, just using up scraps combined with a painted background, stamping and some pieces of paper napkins:
This morning when I went out the ducks were holding an 'indignation meeting'
by the stream:
Then I saw why - the heron was there, and they don't like him.
Too much competition?
The autumn colours contrasted with the grey and misty sky:
Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
Wonderful photos as always and both pieces are stunning, you have a great way with colour. Hugs Sarah
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see your balcony blackbird again and I can see, like me, he is enjoying your fabulous autumn wonderland! The collage piece you have created is gorgeous, I love the crimson flowers :-). The changing autumn leaves in all your photos are glorious - the mist and grey contrasts beautifully with the golden leaves! Have a great week! J :-)
ReplyDeletep.s. you are very kind asking me to join AJJ with my post today, thank you! x
Lovely pages for AJJ and your photos are stunning!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely pages, I love the da Vinci art that became a part of your pieces! Your photos are beautiful, I especially love ones with the fall leaves...
ReplyDeleteGreat journal pages and love your color combo.
ReplyDeleteI love your pages today, and can't wait to see the museum art you saw too. I think your scenery is looking a lot like mine-lots of leaves down on the ground but not quite bare yet. Glad you had a fun day out. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteMost days I sit and really look at your fabulous photos, today is another one of those days...awesome visit. LOVE your gorgeous autumn colours on your pages, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the words on my bow card, it has been sold but not the sort to post, very bulky if not boxed.xx
Wonderful arty pages Valerie. Love the flowers on the second one.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you found another great place to browse artists work. You are so lucky to have these places so near to be able to visit. The only real art gallery near to us is a train ride away in Hull and it has been closed for over a year for refurbishment. I am looking forward to seeing what you enjoyed.
Have a great day
Love Chrissie xx
Now THAT'S a museum I could stay in for DAYS. Sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBoth your AJJ entries are fantastic. I love the one with the deer and the napkins. Of course, your digital entry is beautiful, too.
Seems the leaves are falling everywhere. Very impressive photos of the rainy, misty countryside and town today.
Fantastische Journalseiten und FOtos Valerie!
ReplyDeleteEinen wunderschönen Mittwoch!
Viel Spaß bei allem was Du vor hast!
Bin am Schnitzel panieren!
Liebe Grüße
Susi
