Today we are starting a new challenge at
- Quotes -
I made a mixed media spread in my journal, using stamps, stencils and more. The background was gessoed and then coloured with Gelatos.
As always you have 2 weeks to join us, and projects of all formats are
allowed. I am looking forward to seeing what YOU create!

And some photos from my walk today - we had sunshine, rain and wind chasing each other all day.

Wow, you have so much green. I think we'll be getting leaves soon as the buds are getting bigger. It is very exciting to finally get green. I love your page today. I think silhouettes really stand out on a page. Yours feel so much like spring. Have a great day! Erika

ReplyDeleteThe horses look happy in their overcoats and the ducks look playful. The grass on the lane is as high as the grass in my yard. I loved the photos from today. The scenery is very different and very GREEN. Love it all.

Terrific spread Valerie with a wonderful sense of freedom in them.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photographs with everything looking lush and green already. The best ones for me today was the horse chestnut blossom and the wonderful avenue of the trees in blossom. I used to live on a road lined with them and the children collected the conkers later in the year.

Here in Virginia we've had rain every day for days now.
Very good for growing and for our water table too which was a little low after the dry summer last year.

Spread your wings - a darling little girl and the other one with the net to catch the butterflies is precious too. A very fun page, Valerie. The foliage in your photos is luscious and so green. You can tell the wind is blowing in the photo with the ducks. All that water in the Rhine makes for a beautiful surrounding.
