Hi Everybody!
Quick post today, time ran so quickly I couldn't catch up.
For Art Journal Journey, Through my window, and 49 faces I made an A3 page showing Marilyn in the window. Marilyn has been stenciled onto white paper, fussy cut and collaged onto a stamped background - wanted it to look like wall-paper, and the window frame has been collaged over her. The butterflies were stenciled, as were the bricks in the wall. The Banksy stamp is from Bee Crafty.

Today we had a book and art market on Market Street:
There was a fête at the Diakonie with lots of colourful stalls selling hand made things, flea-market stuff and lots of food
And last but not least some stained glass windows from the Basilica.

ReplyDeleteI was in awe of all those booths at the street fair. Seems like there were so many more than we get, or maybe it is because they were so close together and you didn't have to walk so far between booths like the ones I have gone to for a few years. I really enjoyed those photos, and of course, the window photos, too.

Hi Valerie. Your Marilyn page is delightful and I love the verse you added! I love to go to flea markets and art shows of all kinds. However, they are mostly held at our fair grounds which is not as lush and beautiful as where yours are set up. They look so inviting. Thanks for the photos and especially the one of the stained glass.
