Hi you all. It's time for Paint Party Friday already, time flies! PPF is hosted, as always, by Eva and Kristin.
I have been rummaging in my bottomless pit, AKA hall closet again. I still haven't found what I was looking for, but I did find a bundle of water-colours from the year 1995. I was at a clinic in Bad Saulgau in the south of Germany after breaking my arm in several places, and painting was a good therapy to strengthen it again. I spent a lot of time wandering around, and painting - mostly in the rain! Nothing exciting, but I was pleased to see them again!
And this is not quite finished. I am calling it 'Blind mirror'. I have used gouache. At the moment I can't stop using green and blue, I think I am longing for green leaves and blue skies - spring!

ReplyDeleteI just love how you tackle and can do everything! I especially like the last landscape but all are charming. I would have to be blind myself to stand naked in front of the mirror LOL

ReplyDeleteWow..these are all so wonderful and beautiful..and what a great feeling it is when you find supplies from the past..recently I too came across my older brother's art supplies he gave me long ago..and it is fun! Your watercolors are all so powerful..the colors full of harmony..there is also a sense of movement..wonderful body in the shapes of the trees..fantastic..and gorgeous colors!

I am crazy about your hall closet and your bit box! All the stuff you find is so neat. It's like some magic place where things just show up from time to time, because it couldn't possibly be large enough to hold all the treasures you pull out of there!
