Hi Everybody!
Another week has sped by, and I don't have much to show for it!
First up I have a journal page for Alison's autumn challenge at AJJ:
And I have a tag for Pinky's challenge at Tag Tuesday, and I forgot to make a hole in it, sorry! But there are some holes in the tree!!
And as always, I have some thinkies and images for you:
This painting was made several years back for a taster session at Tam's Lifebook:
This lady is dressed in her autumn finery:
Have a great weekend, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

DeleteHi Val, good to see you posting again, I'm taking it as a positive sign! Here I had a busy week with 2 photo shoots, but no work is no money, so I need to do it. But it was fun! Have a good week, take care, and don't do too much, I know you! Hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Glad you had a full week and that it was fun! I am having a good week, the weather is good, that makes me happy! Hugs to all!
DeleteFabulous art work Valerie and Love the spooky tag, hole or no hole, it is scary..all your art work is beautiful, I drew a stick man once and even then his legs were uneven, but give me a metal die and I'll make anything..have a wonderful weekend..

DeleteLovely page and tag and thanks for the thinkies
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, have a great day!
DeleteThank you for this gorgeous woman, Valerie. I shall have an extra spring in my step all day just thinking of her. Going back to the holes in the trees, I think they are quite intriguing and invite speculation. When I contemplate, even for a moment, the number of creatures who use those cavities for shelter and a place to make a home, the possibilities are endless. So, I am going to ask the pink-hatted lady if she wants to go for a walk in the woods with me and we can check out all that nature has to offer (wink, wink). What started out as a perfectly ordinary day is now filled with possibilities. Lady Pink Hat will probably need food along the way, and in the fridge I have two very good cheeses and some Serrano ham, so that would seem to fit the bill exceptionally well. A bottle of Sauvignon Blanc is also chilling there, so I think we have everything we need for a fine time in the woods. I’ll be sure to report back! Hugs and kisses - David
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, dear David. I knew you would fall for that woman and want to take her into the woods to explore nature! I am sure she would love your cheese and serrano ham - who wouldn't! At the moment my faourite cheese is Austrian 'Berg Käse' - mountain cheese, and it is very good! Yesterday I had to go to Düsseldorf as one of my hearing aids is broken. It takes a couple of weeks, so I have been loaned one for the time being. I'm glad I did it yesterday, today is grey and rainy and cold, ugh!
DeleteHave a great day, hugs to you and Miriam! Valöerie xxxxxxxx
Sorry, I cant even write my own name now!
DeleteLove that autumn piece! Worthy of a frame.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, have a great weekend! I need more walls, then I could hang up more paintings!
Deleteoh my what a post full of good things and beauty! always delighted to see your art, and these pieces are wonderful. xo
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Michele, enjoy your weekend, hugs!
DeleteLooks like you had a fun week! Your journal page for Alison's autumn challenge is beautiful, and the tag for Pinky's challenge is super cute—even with the missing hole! Love the painting too!
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic weekend!
Thanks so much, Veronca! This is the first time I have forgotten the hole! Have a great weekend, hugs!
DeleteYou've been so creative once again with your great journal page and pretty tag. Who says a tag needs a hole? It can be tucked under some ribbons on a gift and then used as a bookmark, so the hole isn't always necessary. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carol, that has made me feel better! You are right, there are othe solutions! Have a great weekend, take care, hugs!
DeleteI do like your spooky tag ... perfect.
ReplyDeleteYoungest grand-daughter is already getting into the Halloween sprit.
Wishing you a restful weekend.
All the best Jan

ReplyDeleteEin tolles Posting mit deinen Herbstgespenster und Bilder. Das Gesicht gefällt mir so gutund all das andere!
ReplyDeleteLieben Sonntaggruss Elke
You have outdone yourself again with that first piece. What a fabulous profile, great that it is in orange with the wispy leaves trailing along the side of her. Beautiful colours and terrific composition.
ReplyDeleteLove the tag, fun idea with the tree with all the holes in it, maybe hidey holes for tiny creatures or treasure that someone has hidden.
Hugs, Neet xx
I love your autumn lady Valerie, and the wonderful selection of your art.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in with me at AJJ.
