Monday-Tuesday Post

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I did the normal things here - some shopping, a coffee at the cafe, and a meal sitting outside in the sun, but under a shade!. The next few days will be very hot again, so I may be more at home to keep out of the sun.
For Jo's wild challenge at AJJ I have a nice , wild, hybrid piece. The backround was hand painted by me, the dinasour is a digi. The delightful face in the middle is a stamp. I stamped it onto white paper, enlarged it and cut it out digitally - finished.

And now I have some Thinkies, Funnies and Zinnies:

This evening we will be startimg Elizabeth's TsfT drink party. My drink is, as always, coffee:

And this is my lovely helper, Andreas, and I am very lucky that he comes every Monday. We went out for a coffee and then did the shopping, yessss!

On this note I will leave you!

Have a great day, take care,
And thanks a lot for coming by!

  4. Hi Val, good morning! Hope you had a good night. The sun is shining, so I'm hoping it's not going to be too hot. I love your beautiful crafting, as always, and it's another fun one. Rae will love the dinosaur. So do I. Have a great start to the wee, hugs from us all, Sarah.

  5. I think you have got it hotter than us. Although it's more than hot enough for me around the high 20s. We have a cold front coming in off the Atlantic. Its going to meet the hot front coming up from Africa right over us. We are expecting horrendous thunderstorms. Time to get distracted with some art don't you think? Have a great week. Hugs. Deb

  6. The heat of summer is never welcome, yet it continues to get hotter year after year. I think we will soon stay indoors most of the time during July and August! Eating outside, even under an umbrella lacks charm. Fortunately our backyard has lots of shade from the trees and remains pleasant, and we use it frequently. Andreas looks like a fine fellow and I am glad that you have this reliable source of help. Great to share a coffee together. Hugs and kisses - David

Today is even hotter than yesterday, so I will be staying home. Perhaps I could put my yoga mat in the bath tub!? Stay well and happy! Hugs! Xxxxxxxxx

  7. I am so glad I have AC. I would truly die if I had to suffer through the heat in this office. Nice in winter, but not in summer.

I love your hybrid entry for Jo today. It is marvelous. Reminds me of Einstein. It's definitely wild and perfect for Jo's theme at AJJ.

Loved the thinkie about what pops in your head. SO true.

You are SO lucky to have Andreas. It's great that he helps you every Monday and even better that the two pf you look like you are friends. Thanks for sharing him and your drinks with is for T this week, dear Valerie.

Needless to say the funnies/thinkies are great, love the Zinnis especially.
Just read a comment by you - hope you start to feel better and do not go any worse than you are. Hate to think of you alone like that.
