DeleteWow flower, it to cold here for any thing to bloom.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Thanks Dora, we've had some nice days here!
DeleteSorry to hear you didn't have a great day Valerie. This lady is great. She had a very different personality from the last few ladies you've shared. It's fun to see soe variety. I hope Friday us a better day for you. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika. It's good to try something different! Enjoy your day!
DeleteHi Val, good morning 🌄 Hope today will be a better one for you! Take care and do something fun! Hugs from us all, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, we have art therapy this afternoon, that's aways fun!
DeleteSorry to read you had another bad day Valerie, I hope your Art time is helping to take your mind off things. Your green eyed girl is absolutely stunning, love those golden curls in her hair.
ReplyDeleteThe found blue stars are so pretty but the words of William Gladstone shine through for me today. Be kind to yourself you share so much Joy in your creativity and beautiful pictures. Hugs Tracey xx
Thanks so much, Tracey. Gladstone's quote is really beautiful ad encouraging, sometimes the world seems so dark. Have a great day, huGs, Valerie
DeleteGood morning, Your Exquisite Valerieness: I am very pleased to be back in communication with you having endured an enforced absence in Cuba where I had no access to the internet at all. It was quite lovely in many respects. No news of war, political pandering, disasters of one kind or another, environmental destruction - but I did miss my blogging friends, high among them, of course, the ornithological legend of Balconia-by-the-Rhine. As you know, the Brits (of which you are one) refer to young women as birds so I am very happy with the bird who stars on your post today. Created in your inimical style she is beguiling and beautiful. It's a pretty good way to come back to winter in Ontario, having seen many Cuban lovelies. Now, all that remains is to get you well again, but that may be a challenge too great for me. I will, however, smother you with hugs and kisses and that will perhaps make you feel a little better - David
ReplyDeleteThanks David, so happy that you are back with us instead of tinkering around in Cuba. I hope the coffee was good and the girls beautiful, and am looking forward to seeing photos-. I am getting better, just sometimes everthing goes haywire, but I hope to go home on March 8th, and I am looking forward to my own place! Here in the clinic gardens we have a wonderful array of birds, who are not shy and jump onto ou hand if you hae something on it. And there are sweet little mice hiding from the big cat who likes to roam here, and lots of pretty squirrels. Big hugs to you and Miriam, Valeriexxxx
Lieben Gruss Elke
Danke, liebe Elke. Das Wetter macht wirklich Probleme! Hier ist sehr regnerisch. Dir einen schönen tag, alles Liebe, Valerie
DeleteHope you are doing better today. Love your painting. Your work is full of colour and energy. Hugs Anesha x
ReplyDeleteThanks Anesha, have a great day! Hugs!
DeleteHi Deb, great to see you around again. You are not the only one who seems to be locked out of their own account. I have to write some comments as anonymous or it doesn't work. I hope you are soon feeling better, i am hoping for real spring! Hugs, valerie
ReplyDeleteso adorable plants;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy, have a great day, hugs!
DeleteSeriously how can one go wrong with green eyes and red hair? I love her. Wonderful photos and the cats with the unopened food is just too funny. Thanks for joining FFO too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole, have a wonderful day!
DeleteThanks Annie, hugs!
ReplyDeleteŻyczę dużo zdrowia bo ono jest najważniejsze. Piękna praca. Zabawne są tekotki na fotografii. Udanego piątku 😊
ReplyDeleteThanks Lucyna, Good health is indeed very important. Have a great week, hugs!
DeleteThe cat picture reminds me of a little cat I had. She was abandoned, along with her brother, in a decorative chimney pot with an unopened tin of cat food. She became my constant companion for 19 years, what a love she was, but very much in charge.
ReplyDeleteLove your painted lady. Portraits are always a treat when coming from you and I think you have this personal touch with always decorating their hair in some way that is different from what most folks do. I love it.
However, I am so sorry to hear you are having a bad time at the moment. I do hope that as today progressed it got a little better for you. At least you are being cared for and hopefully all your needs are being taken care of and you have lots of time to rest and hopefully grow stronger. I just wish, for you, that recovery would happen that little quicker. Take care
Hugs, Neet xx
I love how expressive the faces of your Painted Ladies are. This one in particular.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you had a bad day. Hugs,
Thanks Sandra, I feel better today! Hugs!
DeleteThanks Neet. Cats and dogs give us so much love and loyalty. I had my rescue cat for 22 years, she was such a clever and gentle soul. Glad you liked my red lady, painting is so relaxing. I am hoping I can go home on March 8th, keep your fingers crossed for me. Hope you are feeling better, hugs, Valerie ❤️😊❤️
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you had a bad day, feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI do like your red lady :)
All the best Jan

Thanks so much, Jan!
DeleteI am so sorry to read you had a bad day yesterday. I hope today is better. At least you were able to make art. Your latest lady is beautiful. Her curly hair is darling and I love her sweater/shirt. She is a great entry for Erika's theme at AJJ.
ReplyDeleteI laughed hard at the cat bowls. And the word queue made me laugh, too. However, the Gladstone quote stole my heart.
I hope today is a better day, dear.
I keep getting "Failed to Publish."
Yes, Bl*gger is making our lives difficult just now!
DeleteI was here over half a day ago and blogger is finally acting nice to me.

DeleteI think your lady is a lot of fun. I may "borrow" the shape of her hair for one of my quilted faces. I hope you don't mind.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Gene, always glad to share!
DeleteWhat an amazing painting, she looks wonderful! I'm sorry I've been MIA too, lots of grandma duties so I can't complain, I'm living my best life! I hope you are feeling better today, take care and have a great weekend xx
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, the first days/weeks/months in a baby's life are too precious to miss, beeing a grandma is much more important than blogging!

ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, have a great week!
