New challenge at TIOT - sparkle and shine

Hi Evverybody!

It's time for a new challenge at TIOT, and this time our theme is Sparkle and Shine, so we want to see your sparkly and shiny creations. Creations of all formats are welcome, so come and join us! I made an A3 acrylic painting and used lots of gold, but it was hard to catch the shine in the photos. In real life it is much more shiny! And please have a look at the lovely creations made by my buddies on our blog:

  1. She really is full of sparkle and shine, isn't she? Lovely piece. I've just completed my first A3 piece. It took me forever, but I'm really pleased with it. She's got a little bit of sparkle and shine on her, but I don't think we've got enough to put it forward into your challenge. Aside from the fact that I don't know how to take part in these challenges anyway. LOL.

  6. I love your golden lady Valerie. She has such class and style. Nice dots in her hair as well as her dress. And beautiful sunrise too. It is cloudy here today, but just as well since we Maddie had surgery yesterday and today I have to be sure she gets plenty of rest. Happy November (once again). Hugs-Erika

  14. Good morning, Valerie: Somehow I missed this long-necked luscious beauty and then I note that you have two posts on the same day. Your vigour must really be returning! Lots of sparkle and razzamatazz in this image in keeping with the sparkly theme. If you need flowers in your hair to visit San Francisco then this sultry siren must be visiting Shangri-La with all that gold. So much glitter, so much allure. I shall think of her for the rest of the day. Hugs and kisses - David

    1. Thanks David, sorry if you were confused again. I am not a fan of having to prepare for 2 challenges on one day, but sometimes it's unavoidable. I hope you are enjoying thinking of of the golden siren! Big hugs to you, have a great day!

  22. Beautiful lady, although I find the vines around her neck make me feel uneasy. I worry that they will tighten and cut off her breath. That's probably some dark and psychological inside me. Such a precious baby kitten and mother!
