T sTands for Tuesday on Monday

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all had a great weekend. Here it was warm and sunny with temps up to 25°, really incredible for the end of October . It made for pleasant walking and lots of people were buying ice cream and enjoying it in the sun. I just had my usual coffee!

Elle recently sent me this fabulous, handmade postcard, with text from Harry Potter in the background. What a fabulous Halloweeen card! Thanks so much, Elle, much appreciated:

And it was in this lovely envelope with gorgeous Harry Potter stamps and also decoratively stamped with Halloween motives:

As I am a great Harry Potter fan this was something fantastic for me, and I will treasure it. Thanks again, Elle!

This evening we will be celebrating Elizabeth's T sTands for Tuesday link party, so here a nice welcome to all of the nice ladies of the T Gang. I am sharing my coffee photo and these wise sayings relating to coffee:

And this is so true - let's see how long the next one lasts!

And I have a Halloween tag:

And some thinkies/funnies:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Weekend Post

Hi Everybody!

It's weekend - enjoy!

Today I am re-showing  a piece made a few years back just because I like it!

At the moment our weather is very mild and sunny, more like late summer than late autumn, and I enjoyed a walk and took some pics with my phone:

And as a reward I bought myself a cappuccino:

And some funnies/ thinkies:

Have a great weekend, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

This and that for Thursday/Friday

 Hi Everybody!

Another week is flying by - where does the time go?

Today I am sharing some faces - or parts of faces- that I recently made. They were worked very quickly with soft pastels on brown paper, and then I cut them apart into strips and just played about repositioning them. But I do think it's a good way to observe the proportions etc. Do the faces - or face parts - tell a story? I'm linking to Elle's chalenge at AJJ,  Tell me a story, and to Nicole's Friday Face off:

And for Rain's Trick or Treat I have a journal page made back when from various photos and some digital birds. The main photos was taken on an autumn day at sunset and shows the beautiful avenue next to the castle ruins here. The figure - the night watchman - belongs in another little town I just placed him here to make a Halloween page:

We often have fog or mist along by the river, and I love to walk  there and watch the leaves fluttering down:

This is in Hofgarten, DĂĽsseldorf:

A vistor to my tree:

Some funnies/ thinkies:

And I will be linking to Gillena's Friday Fun theme:

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
