Thursday/Friday post/Rain's TAD

Hi Everybody!

This week is going by so quickly, I am always running behind myself trying to catch up! Today I want to link to Rain's Thursday art date,  farm life,  My faves were the wonderful pigs:

And I have another tag for my challenge at Tag Tuesday, blue/green. The dog would also enjoy being on a farm!

And some funnies:

Have a great day, take care,
ad thanks a lot for coming by!

  2. Lovely photos, Valerie. I LLLLLLOVE the sheep, the goat and the duck. The owl is very funny, I laughed out loud when I saw it! And your tag is beautiful. I like the interesting background and the colors on the clouds. Hugs, my friend.

  4. Oh I just love that pig photo. The duck is beautiful, the goat and the ram are such sweet looking characters but somehow that pig does it for me. Reminds me of when I went to touch a stone pig outside a farmhouse in Wales (whilst on a walk). When it moved I screamed and ran - it was just covered in mud and real!

  6. Good morning Valerie: All of the farm animals have their own charm, as does the blue dog in your piece. It's a shame that we have come to use the term "pig" as someone who is grossly objectionable in one way or another, when in fact the real animal has a certain charm about it. Yet if we were to call Putin a pig, everyone would know that "charming" is not intended. The wife who finds out that her husband has been philandering and calls him a pig is not bestowing her seal of approval on his charm. (The other woman already did that!). Pigs can be pretty messy and if we call a teenager's bedroom a pigsty that is perhaps justified. Of the other pictures, the duck and the owl, especially the owl, capture my attention more than others. We had dinner with Erica last evening and she has indeed become a charming, articulate, well-educated young lady. It was a huge pleasure to see her again. Soon you will be going home, Valerie. We will all rejoice with you. Hugs and kisses, David

    1. Hi David, the animals are all good to watch, and it's good to see animals that live outside and enjoy life. It's a pity that pigs are always so maligned. Calling Putin a pig would be insulting for those clever animals. The owl is a fabulous shot indeed, and the duck is regal.Glad you enjoyed your dinner with Erica and that she has developed so well. Have a great day, big hugs, Valerie

  8. I love your farm life photos. That pig looks like he/she could be quite the character. And nice tag too. I had a laugh at that one. Reminds me of Mr. Pete. I like how it is rather subtle but still obvious what he is up to. I've start 2 tags, hope to finish them today. I haven't sat down to make any art for over a week now, except for some time last night to start some tags. Rain is coming in though so I'm excited to play again. Hope your week is going well, of course it is, you heard you can go home! Hugs-Erika

  22. All of your animal pictures are awesome ... the duck with his mating season blue beak is gorgeous. Your pigs are hairy ... our pigs don't have much hair and they are pink. Interesting :) Of course I love your Owl picture and the front and back views in the dog crate. And your clever Tag ... reminds me of my Izzi. She was a she, but she loved to lift her leg ... think she must have learned it from her Dad. Anyway, fun stuff, Valerie ...

    1. Most pigs here are pink, the black ones are an old breed. Funny that your Izzi liked lifting her leg!
