Hi Everybody!
Today we are starting another new challenge at TIOT and this time our theme is
Travel and adventure
As always, projects of all formats are welcome, and you have 2 weeks to link to us. Pop over to our blog and see the beautiful pieces my teamies have made. And thanks to all who entered our last challenge! And the lovely and talented Tammy has joined our team, welcome!
I made a hybrid piece using a painted background, a postcard, a tag and a cut out pair who are thinking about their adventure. The map and sentiment were added digitally.
Lovelt art work again Valerie, I guess we will not be travelling for a while yet. Hreat photos of the farm and animals and birds, the pig does look happy, goats are interesting animals I find too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue. Here it's allowed to travel again, but I wouldn't like to be in a full plane for hours to get somewhere. These farm animals all looked happy!
DeleteOh that's a lovely page Valerie, I think we can all relate to it and miss travelling to with our friends or loved one. Great theme @ TioT again. Great pictures too, the upturned cart and milk churns really appeal to me, I'd love to sit and sketch them.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday Hugs Tracey xx
Thanks Tracey, I think we can all relate just now. The old things at the farm were wonderful. Have a great day, hugs!
DeleteLovely page and I do wish we could go somewhere together again in this world of fear....just keep wishing. Lovely animal photos, so cute. xxx
ReplyDeleteYes, let's keep wishing and hoping. Sooner or later!

ReplyDeleteThanks Christine! Enjoy your day!
DeleteThat's a great theme for TioT, Valerie and a beautiful hybrid page, too. That looked like the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. It's a great entry.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the animals and birds, but the farm pieces are truly my thing, especially the piece they turned into a planter.
Thanks Elizabeth! The old farm things were very interesting and beautifully decorated, very inspiring!
DeleteHi Val, good morning! Love our beautiful art piece, I think we're all longing to travel and be together again. Great photos, too, the pigs really look happy. Love the old farm implements, too, soo interesting, and prettily decorated. Have a lovely day, hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, we all have a lot to catch up on with visiting and travelling! Have a great day, hugs to you all!
DeleteGood morning Your Enchanted Valerieness: Ah,to be able to go somewhere together! it has been so long! Actually, I am now in the early stages of planning a couple of weeks in Atlantic Canada for Miriam and me in early September, if only COVID regulations don't raise their ugly heads and stymie our plans again. I am trying to find accommodations at places that will guarantee a refund if a cancellation is necessary due to COVID. It will be exciting to travel again. The peacock is correctly known as Indian Peafowl (Pavo cristatus) and seems to have been introduced to farms and petting zoos all over the world. The duck is a mixture of a few species, a hybrid of one kind or another. It is very attractive and I am sure pleases the patrons of the animal farm. All of the animals are adorable, and perhaps form the only connection that many have with farm animals, other than as a slice of meat on their plate. They all need to read "The Cow"! I hope you are feeling better and that you can escape that soft diet soon. Hugs and kisses, David.
ReplyDeleteGood morning David! I think we are all longing to go places again and have more c contact to others. I hope your trip in September will work out, sounds like a great idea. But you are wise to plan so carefully. Aha, an Indian peafowl. We see a lot of them these days, some people have them in their beer gardens, too. I like to visit animals that are living a happy life. The little farm at the end of the street here is always beautiful, and the animals can roam around. So many animals suffer terribly to satisfy human needs. This morning I watched 3 pigeons on my balcony. Mum, Dad and Baby. Baby was just as big as his parents, but was being fed by his loving parents, too funny. Have a great day, take care, hugs to you both!
DeleteI will let you know where we will be staying and you can fly over and join us!
DeleteNow that would be nice! I'll have to see which tram would get me there!
DeleteLovely post VJ
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashok, have a great week!
DeleteIts a fantastic journal page for the new theme TioT's Valerie. its seems like travelling will still be difficult for many for a while to come. I'm not sure I am happy with what is being planned regarding easing the restrictions here in the coming weeks.
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the farm were lovely.
Stay safe.
Yvonne xx
Thanks Yvonne. I think things are being changed too quickly, too. We ill really need to stay cautious!
DeleteThat is a stunning page Valerie. It's could be a travel poster for a romantic trip to San Francisco. It is wonderful for TIOT. And your travels to the farm in Neuss look great to me. Those pigs made me smile. Well all of the animals did, but the pigs had such funny expressions. Hope all is well with you this Tuesday. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika. Those piggies were really funny. We hood there and watched them, they sat there, watching us! Too funny! It#s good that at least some animals get to live a good life. Hugs!
