Hi Everybody!
Another week is flying by, and tomorrow is Paint Party Friday, hosted as always, by Eva and Kristin. I got some more stamps cut this week. This one is about 7" high - these were the 'first impressions' again:
This one is 6"
At TIOT our theme is still destinations - I have a hybrid piece using pieced-together photos I took of the Altstadt on a free map background:
And here is an old mixed-media journal spread that I reworked because the pages had partly stuck together. The Hebrew text reads 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth'
Last Sunday I visited Hariksee (a large lake between here and the Dutch border) with my buddy G. It is a beautiful place to enjoy a quiet walk on a hot day:
The wild geese with their goslings:
A coot on its nest:
Beautiful post all round, love those ducklings.x[aussie aNNie blog]

I do love your stamps. You do make some fascinating images that I really like. I have some supplies I picked up as I some some cool pods in Japan and I want to turn them into images-if I can. And as always I enjoyed the art. Glad you got to walk around the lake too. It looks pretty and being the water on a warm day is the best. Hope all is well with you and you are feeling better. Hugs-Erika

I do not know how I keep missing these posts Valerie but yet again I am here now.
ReplyDeleteMore masterful carvings, I would love to try but there are not enough hours in the day for the things I do yet alone adding more creativity to it. Great rework of your older journal pages, it's like a lesson learnt with the mediums we use (if we can remember what we did use!!) Glad you could salvage it.
More wonderful pictures and a glorious sun shine, ours turned into grey skies and heavy storms this weekend but the garden is no longer as thirsty as it was.
Happy Monday hugs Tracey xx
Hope your day is pleasant and productive, my friend.
ReplyDeleteHugs
