It's party time at Simon Monday Challenge

Hi Everybody!

It's time for a new challenge at
Simon Says Monday blog
and our theme this time is
🎇 Party🎇
This is my third and last week as Guest DT
there, and the challenge will be running
for 2 weeks, which gives you plenty
of time to party in real life and to
join in! Thanks again to the great team
there for asking me, and  especially to Lols for her help
and patience showing me how to get the links etc done
correctly!

One entry is chosen each week and wins a fabulous
gift voucher!

I  made an A3 journal page. For the background I painted a layer of Gesso and textured it using a swirl design stamp. The figures were made with a home-made stencil and a Faber Castell Big Brush Pen. I used home made acrylic paint sprays to colour the background, and diverse small stencils for the 'confetti'. The lettering was done by hand. I added some ribbon scraps for my dancers to wave.

I'm looking forward to seeing YOUR entry at the challenge!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

  4. Are you and your partner going to dance the night away? It's what I thought when I first saw this beautiful page. It was wonderful that you got to be a guest designer, and I love each of the projects you created, too. This one is beautiful.

The water in the Rhine looks very cold. I hope you don't catch cold from the wind it gives off. Have a super day and thanks for sharing this awesome art.

  12. So full of movement, they are reaally swinging away, - a brilliant stencil and a fabulous page! And wow, the river is full, but so beautiful! I have wonderful memories of travelling by train along the Rhine from Holland to Mannheim, and of course loved hearing the stories of Die Lorelei and the Pied Piper of Hameln, though what that story has to do with the Rhine I don't know, but my mum always used to tell it when we were on that train... (I had relatives who lived near Mannheim, so we went there most years)...
