Vintage post boy

Hi Everybody!

It's weekend, enjoy it!

For Art Journal Journey, post and postage I have another journal page.
I used one of the freebie backgrounds from Astrid (Thanks!) which I have used several times before. I added an image from my stash, some postage stamps and some stamping done with Archival black. It looks like the little boy is carrying love letters.

I love this house with the hollyhocks

This house is from the 12th century, and is the oldest one in the square

The rose was not only beautiful but had a wonderful perfume

The cut straw from yesterday has been baled already

This little rabbit was sitting quite peacefully till a big, black dog arrived, and then it moved with the speed of lightning

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

The page is terrific and a lot of Astrid's wonderful 'gifts' fit this theme really well.

  13. Great page today. Nice Victorian feel and what it would be to carry around flowers like that. T think some lucky person will get them? And I am with you- I love the hollyhock house too. It doesn't look that old so it must have been well cared for. Sorry for the pastry photo yesterday-no more for awhile-promise. Enjoy the start to your weekend!

  19. Totally love your little love letter boy Valerie - sooo precious and the colors make me happy too. I hope to do my postal page today but... after seeing all your wonders the past couple weeks - I don't even know where to begin! My thinking cap is under the table somewhere!!! Anyway - just love this creation - so sweet.

And... the hollyhocks... wow. I haven't seen those since I was a little girl. My Grammie had them in her garden and I was always enamored with them. She lived in Illinois USA. And I think that I remember they smelled really good too. Just love your photos - thanks so much for remembrances! Xj.
