Hi everybody!
The week is flying by again, and today we were blessed with sunshine and pleasant temperatures.
Today I recycled an old canvas (8x8") that had seen better days. I used all the colours of autumn, and tried to put in lots of texture, by heating and bubbling the metallic paint, with beads sprinkled into the wet paint, with fairy dust and with Frantage EPs in bronze and gold. I added a textile sunflower, some leaves, and some textile and dried flowers. Thew insect is an old brooch from my Mother. I glued a few stars on, too. All items had been used before on other projects. I put together the photos I took yesterday, and made a collage, also for Art Journal Journey.
Today began well, with the sun dispelling the mist over the fields:

ReplyDeleteYes, shadows can be fascinating, I once did a book swap where one theme was "Shadows" and that was fun, it made me see shadows more.

ge Muskelverspannungen,bekomme Mikrowellenbestrahlung und Schmerztabletten die auch entzündungshemmend sind,ich hoffe das bringt was.

Diese Textur zusammen mit den herrlichen glänzenden Farben ist ein einziger Traum Valerie! Grossartig! Deine Fotosammlung erfreut mich auch sehr...es sieht so aus, als ob bei uns heute zumindest der Dauerregen ein Ende hätte..war schon mit den HUnden und hab sogar schon im Garten gewerkelt ..mache alles bevor ich mein Bruderherz aufwecke..der hat ein Leben wie ein bunter Hund.

I applaud your recycling efforts. This turned out gorgeous. I especially like all the texture you got from your heat tool. Using the old brooch and the sunflower really made the piece pop!
