Hi you all!
It has been extremely hot and muggy here again, so did not have much mojo for crafting.
I am just showing my Tag Tuesday tags from last week - travel, and this week, weddings.
For this week's wedding tag I used a photo of the wedding of my great uncle back in the 1920s, as can clearly be seen from their clothes. My Mum is standing next to the bride. Her 2 sisters were also bridesmaids, but I couldn't fit them into the frame today, so they got cut off - sounds brutal! The frame has been made from an old card that I found in my bit box. I wonder of they had a car like that back then?
The travel tag is an altered matchbox. The paper is from Graphics 45, and the dashing young men are on an image from gecko Galz. I glues some map paper into the back of the box , and the train has been stamped with archival in black and then fussy cut. I fixed it with foam pads. I cut a window in my tag, and a corresponding one in the cover of the box before assembling it. I wonder where they are off to?
And this is a piece with a history. I started out about half a year back or more, making 2 pieces for the covers of a journal, both were to be more or less the same. Well, I discovered the envelope with the bits to make this one, and have now finished it. But I can't find the first one....
It has been made from cardboard, partly peeled, and embossed with Utee gold. The image is from CI, and the paper beads at the bottom are some I made this week.
I am linking to OOAH, numbers (on the clock), Craftroom Challenge, Bingo (lace, pearls and brown) and Artful Times, let's ribble!
Now I will put this one away till I hopefully find the first one again!
Have a great day you all, take care, and thanks a lot for visiting!

Good morning Valerie. This post certainly holds some neat creativity! The wedding picture is lovely isn't it. The tag made with the matchbox really is a wonderful treat from the ordinary. I love the clock on the top and it makes another appearance on the bottom make but the times are different. Which brings me to your cover for a journal. Wow Valerie - I love everything about this! Could you comment on the clock? Off to do more sitting, and sitting, and sitting ..........

I love the wedding piece, the picture and frame are gorgeous, the car with the streamer is so cool!
