T stands for Circles and Strudel

Hi Everybody!

On Tuesday we are starting a new challenge at TIOT -
-circles-
As always, projects of all formats are allowed,
and you have 2 weeks to link to us.

I made a digital piece using elements from Mischief Circus. I
kept it simple - for a change - and quite like the look
I achieved, with the circles being a defining part
of the composition. I am also linking to Elke's lovely 'landscapes
of the soul' challenge at Art Journal Journey:

Today is also Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday, so here a
warm welcome to all of the ladies of the T Gang. Last week
when I was out and about with G we visited a little
garden restaurant in Südpark. I chose a warm apple strudel,
and enjoyed every bite after the long walk - it was as
delicious as it looks:

And a pot of coffee revived me:

And here are some more photos from our walk:

Where's my strudel?

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

Dog's life or duck's life?

Hi Everybody!

Today I am sharing a tag made for Tag Tuesday,
'Autumn/Halloween.'
The image is a water-coloured tree, sewn to a piece of DP.
I added Jacko - my great Aunt's terrier many, many moons ago,
and gave him a witch's hat and broom. The bow is to remind
me of the bows I liked putting on his collar, which he always
ripped off - he was a little macho!
I am also linking to Simon Monday Challenge,
'It's a dog's life'

The photos were once again taken last week in Südpark:

Time to go - put your best foot forward!

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!

The cottage garden

Hi Everybody!

For Paint Party Friday and Elke's theme of 'landscapes of the soul' at
Art Journal Journey I have an A5 page. The image is from Gecko
Galz and was printed onto canvas. I sewed it to various pieces
of distressed cardboard, and then to the canvas BG,  which was
fringed and distressed with my home-made vintage brown
ink. I caught up some pieces of dyed cheese cloth between
the layers to give the feeling of spiders' webs, and
added some feathers as embellishments:

I am sharing more photos of my visit to Südpark - here the
cottage gardens:

I love the insect hotels:

The painted stones placed on the earth looked wonderful:

Tomorrow we will be visiting lots of ducks.

Have a great day, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
