We have reached the last month of the year, the cold winter
has us in its grip, and long evenings give us lots of time
for being creative! I had another fun -and yummy - day with friends crafting, chatting and eating, and I hope we will have another get together soon.
At Susi's Art Journal Journey the theme is 'Collage'. I hope this theme will inspire you to get busy, dig out all your scraps, put on your creative thinking caps
and link your creations to the AJJ challenge. My first piece is a mixed media project, made in my giant journal. The background was made with printed paper remnants, which I then painted, sprayed and stamped. The lady is an image from one of my old magazines, which I digitally altered a bit, printed and fussy cut. Then I added more or less everything but the kitchen sink, as in our dreams we see a mixture of all sorts of things. Perhaps she's wondering which of those men she should take? Or if it would be better to stick with a dog? Or how she can get her hands on jewels? We don't know....
I had a quick walk this morning before I went scrapping. The wild geese were busy with their morning toilet:
This little bird was happy to pose:
This is the old customs house, near the Rhine:
And this is the statue on the right hand side - I wonder what he is doing?
Happy December, and a peaceful Advent to all who celebrate it.
Have a great day you all, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
