More witches and lots of birds

Hi everybody!

It's weekend, so enjoy it!

This is another of my DT cards for Gecko Galz.
I used a 6" card blank. The BG paper is is from the paper pack 'Conjure', matted with dark blue pearlised paper. I cut the owl trim using a border punch from the same paper. I stamped the BG paper with my fave witch, her cat, and some TH bats using archival. The images are Rhonda's Originals, with whom  Gecko Galz is doing a cross promotion  this month. I used Moonbirds, part 1, and fussy cut and varnished them.

For the envelope I stamped the image twice, using just a little ink, to give a spooky look.

Yesterday was cool and rather wet, but I still enjoyed my walk about 'town'.

This gorgeous wall plaque is in the entrance to one of the places in Church Close.

This is the garden inside

This pretty statue is on one of the houses from the 18th century.

Some of the trees have almost lost their leaves already:

Iceland ponies out for a trot along the Rhine

The farmers were busy plowing the fields, and there were hundreds of seagulls flattering around their tractors and across the field looking for easy pickings.

Have a great day, whatever you are up to, stay creative, and have fun!
Thanks a lot for coming by!

  15. Ah, ich mag dieses Bild total, wenn die vielen Möven hinter dem Pflug herumschwirren!
Das gibt es hier nicht zu sehen, weil wir keine Möwen haben, leider.
    Schönen Sonntag wünscht Ulrike

  18. I've never made Hallowe'en art which makes looking at your art here all the more interesting. I like your spooky witch with her cat, a very modern witch I think with her striped stockings. Nice idea making it shaky on the envelope.
Great photos as always, my favourites are the second, what a beautiful street although that is a very large tree for a narrow street, and the last with the grasses, the rocks and the water..

  23. Good morning, Valerie, the witch image is so sassy looking. She goes so well on your special card for Gecko Galz. It is raining here today and expected all week so fall has arrived and the leaves will begin to turn color and fall from the trees. The photos of the farmer plowing his field are interesting with all of the birds following him around for treats from mother earth. I enjoyed the photos of the area around Church Close too.

    Hugs,
    C

  24. I added you Valerie. I had some problems with my site. I think I have it fixed.
I have done my own book covers also cardboard and cloth for years and lace. I made 6 scrapbooks of my own for my 6 Grandchildren who now are teens. My scrapbooks are almost to the end of the older on my page. You will need time to look. So I came across your work where you had commented on a gal for her digital entry. I did one today myself on my site for that entry. . If you care to look. Buttons and Bows. I also have my scenery of fall if you care to look and comment. I like to meet new bloggers.Like this site the people are very, very nice. You live where it is beautiful as your pictures are really, really awesome. Fabulous.
